Letters to Speaker Johnson and Leader Jeffries urging to schedule a vote for PEACE act:
American Coalition for Ukraine Urges Congressional Leaders to Advance the PEACE Act
20 Member Organizations Sign Joint Letters to Speaker Johnson and Leader Jeffries
Washington, D.C. — November 20, 2025 — Building on the momentum of the recent Ukraine Action Summit, the American Coalition for Ukraine (ACU) has submitted letters to Speaker Mike Johnson and Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries urging an immediate vote on the PEACE Act (H.R. 4346). This bipartisan legislation would deprive Russia of critical financial lifelines and expedite the lawful transfer of immobilized Russian state assets to support Ukraine’s defense, recovery, and reconstruction.
The letters were co-signed by 20 ACU member organizations, demonstrating unified support across the nationwide advocacy network.
“The PEACE Act represents a principled and urgently needed step to ensure that Russia faces real consequences for its war of aggression,” said Aleksandr Krapivkin, ACU Policy Сhair. “Unlocking these assets is not escalation — it is enforcement.”
