Travel Fund for delegates from the remote critical districts
Our goal for this summit is to bring as many constituents from critical districts as possible. Unfortunately, some of these districts are very remote, making travel costs prohibitive.
We’re launching a limited-time fundraiser. The American Coalition for Ukraine and UACC have partnered to create a travel fund for delegates from these districts. Please consider donating money or miles to help subsidize their travel expenses. Your support can make a significant difference!
For more information or to donate miles please contact member of delegates relationship team Christina Tershakovets christina.tershakovec@americancoalitionforukraine.org
Accommodations in Washington, DC
The American Coalition for Ukraine has partnered with Klerk to secure favorable hotel rates in the Capitol Hill area for the Summit attendees. If you don’t find something that works for you right now, don’t worry — the selection will be updated.

DENYS KRYVYI: FIGHTING FOR HIS UKRAINIAN LANDSCAPE
An award-winning naturalist photographer known for his work for National Geographic, Denys Kryvyi enlisted in the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a volunteer in the early days of the war. In May 2023, he perished in battle near Bakhmut while rescuing a wounded comrade. To preserve his legacy, Kryvyi’s widow and founder of the SAYO foundation Halyna Volhyna has been sharing his art with the world. The event will include a panel discussion on the broader impact of the war, featuring insights from Penn State University scholars Calvin Norman and Catherine Wanner.
Checkpoint Zoo
Razom for Ukraine and American Coalition for Ukraine joined forces to put together a special screening of an award-winning documentary “Checkpoint Zoo“. Directed by Joshua Zemen, the documentary had its World Premiere at the renowned Tribeca Film Festival in 2024 where it got an Audience Award.
“Checkpoint Zoo” documents a daring rescue led by a heroic team of zookeepers and volunteers at the Kharkiv Ecopark Feldman, who risked their lives to save thousands of animals trapped in a zoo behind enemy lines in the Russian Invasion of Ukraine.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director, so make sure to stick around and have the chance to be part of the conversation!
